BC.Game CEO asks for fresh start: "Take all our points away"

BC.Game CEO Ali "Ako" Muhanned has asked for his team's VRS points to be reset to zero so the current roster can start from scratch in the Asia VRS, after Valve adjusted the CS Major Supplemental Rulebook on regional assignment following roster changes. He said the team's three Asian players — asap, mzinho and Senzu — are its core, and that he does not want to remove another player just to find a technical solution.

Denuvo seeks subpoenas to make Discord, Valve and Reddit identify sued cracker

Denuvo has asked the US District Court for the Northern District of California for permission to subpoena Discord, Valve and Reddit to determine the real identity of the cracker it is suing, voices38. The complaint lists 26 games, saying voices38 bypassed Denuvo Anti-Tamper, including Resident Evil Requiem, Stellar Blade, Black Myth Wukong, Pragmata and Hogwarts Legacy. Denuvo says Discord did not reply to its earlier request, while Valve and Reddit said their privacy policies prevented them from sharing the information without legal backing. Separately, Tom's Hardware reports that a group called DenuvOwO, which released cracks for dozens of Denuvo-affected games, has disbanded, reportedly citing the court case.

TaZ on Valve's new region rule: "Difficult for me to accept"

BC.Game coach TaZ has spoken out against Valve's updated Major Supplemental Rulebook, which bars teams from changing regions before a Major and has effectively knocked BC.Game out of the race for PGL Major Singapore. He said the team followed the rules in place at the time, built an eligible roster and appeared on the Asian VRS in October's ranking update, calling the timing of the immediate three-month regional restriction difficult to accept. TaZ added that BC.Game will communicate with Valve and respect the final decision.

M80's Swisher: "Everyone is hoping that Valve rethink their stance on the stickers"

M80 secured their place at the Singapore Major after beating Legacy, with Swisher saying it seals the deal early for the team. He said M80 can be a top ten team when their energy and comms are there, but consistency remains an issue. On Valve's sticker system changes that hurt revenue in Cologne, Swisher said everyone hopes Valve rethinks its stance, though Valve rarely goes back on decisions.

Valve adjusts VRS region swap rules, disqualifying teams that switched before Singapore Major

Valve updated the CS Major Supplemental Rulebook after several organizations moved from the Europe to the Asia VRS to improve their Major chances. The new rule requires a roster to have not appeared in another region's VRS list in the preceding three calendar months to be eligible for a regional assignment, so any region change takes three months to take effect. Valve told HLTV the change applies to the Singapore Major and that teams which swapped regions ahead of it are disqualified from the Major run unless they reach out and find a solution.

Valve Could Make $20 Billion From Steam This Year, And It Owes Developers Big-Time

Alinea Analytics estimates Valve could make $20 billion this year from Steam game sales alone, including $1.7 billion in September 2026, $5.5 billion in Q3, and $16.5 billion so far this year. Steam takes a 30 percent cut of every sale, and with 20,000 games launching on the store each year, the article argues Valve should reduce that cut, create a developer panel, and curate the store in-house.

GameSpot hands-on with the Steam Frame: what a four-figure VR headset gets right

GameSpot senior video producer Kurt Indovina says the Steam Frame is the best VR headset he has used and possibly the last one he will own. He replayed titles such as Half-Life: Alyx on it and describes the standalone wireless headset as a major step up from 2019's Valve Index in inside-out tracking, streaming support and onboard processing, though it sits at the pricier end of the market.
