Activision Thinks GTA 6 Will Actually Help Modern Warfare 4: 'No Offense to Zelda, but [GTA and COD] Are the 2 Biggest Games of the Year'

Activision CMO Tyler Bahl said GTA 6's boost to PS5 and Xbox Series X and S sales and the extra attention on gaming will benefit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, calling them the two biggest games of the year. He admitted Black Ops 7 was a commercial disappointment and that back-to-back sub-brand sequels had not worked, with Modern Warfare 4 addressing that feedback. Modern Warfare 4's campaign early access starts tomorrow, the Ocarina of Time remake launches November 5, and GTA 6 launches November 19.
