Activision exec: GTA 6 and COD Modern Warfare 4 are 'the two biggest games of the year', 'no offense to Zelda'

Activision CMO Tyler Bahl said in an interview that GTA 6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 are "the two biggest games of the year," rather than GTA 6 and the Zelda remake, adding "no offense to Zelda." Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, and Bahl said the series stands on its community and social experience, now reaching Switch 2 as a new platform this year. Asked whether player numbers could drop when GTA 6 releases on November 19, he said the opposite could happen and there might be a slight uptick.
