Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1 launches March 25 with a shortened four-week cycle

Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1, titled Unraveled for Daybreak, launches on March 25 and continues the Planarcadia story arc. The update runs four weeks instead of the usual six to rebalance the schedule after the extra-long Version 3.8, shortening the banners for Ashveil and reruns of Hyacine and Boothill. It also adds the Wispae War Saga activity, a new Arcadian Chronicles phase in the Divergent Universe, and double rewards for Planar Fissure and Garden of Plenty.

NetEase's GPTRACK50 reveals first full trailer for debut game Stupid Never Dies, targeting 2026 release

GPTRACK50, a new NetEase studio led by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, has released the first full trailer for its debut game Stupid Never Dies, a speed-focused action game starring a freshly risen zombie named Davy who dives into hell's dungeons to collect Over-Technology and save humanity and his love. The game offers 11 combat styles including Zombie, Werewolf, Harpy, Golem, Vampire, Will o' the Wisp, Cyclops, Snow Fairy, Merfolk, Lich and Demon, which can be swapped for juggle combos. Its core loop is roguelike-like, with timed floor runs and stat and gear upgrades, and the studio is targeting a 2026 release on PlayStation and PC, with Steam Deck compatibility under consideration and Xbox and Switch not yet decided.

Battlefield 6 gets a free trial next week with three playlists and the Nightfall mode

Battlefield Studios announced that Battlefield 6 will be free to play from March 17 to March 24, accessible through the already free-to-play Battlefield Redsec with a new Battlefield 6 Free Trial section in the main menu. The trial offers Casual Breakthrough, All-out Warfare and a third playlist showcasing the new Nightfall mode and its map, with All-out Warfare covering Conquest, Breakthrough and Escalation across Contaminated, Hagental Base, Eastwood and Mirak Valley. Progression is shared with Redsec and unlocks carry over to the full version, and March 17 also marks the start of Season 2's second stage alongside a large update.

An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released and will be applied automatically when the game is restarted. It fixes a client crash related to material proxies, Scout.NegativeVocalization04 sounds not playing in Mann vs. Machine due to a volume typo, and The Spy-cicle not using its icicle lightwarp, with the latter two as community fixes. The update also revises materials for cp_coldfront and the Taunt: Heartbreaker prop, and fixes several player clip and map issues on koth_demolition.

The Sims 4 patch stops stranger Sims from interrupting public lot gatherings

The Sims 4 is getting a new patch on March 17 for PC and Mac, with PlayStation and Xbox versions to follow at an unspecified time. The update includes five major fixes, most notably making Sims prioritise familiar Sims they already have rapport with so strangers are less likely to interrupt conversations on public lots. Prom also returns to in-game Calendars, and pets and horses will no longer get lost in Premade Households.

Its class mechanic unlocks at level 30, offering four archetypes: Legions, Vanguards, Masterminds and Ritualists, with Soul Shards fused into the body to call upon specific demons.

Blizzard unveiled Diablo 4's Season of Slaughter, running March 11 until the Lord of Hatred expansion launches April 28. The season adds the ability to become The Butcher, a Killstreak system, Bloodied Items, and a Doom: The Dark Ages collaboration with mostly paid skins. A free Paladin trial runs March 11 to 18 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, capped at level 25.

Blizzard aired its Diablo 4 Developer Update livestream today, giving a first look at the new Warlock class and the game's next season. The Warlock is one of two classes coming with the Lord of Hatred expansion and arrives alongside it on April 28, while the Paladin is already available to players who pre-order the expansion. Season 12 is set for March 10 and runs until the expansion's release, and the stream also covers the Killstreaks system and Bloodstained items before a Q&A.

The Sims 4 adds paid mods and the Moola virtual currency

Maxis announced The Sims Maker Program and The Sims 4 Marketplace, launching first on PC and Mac on March 17, with PlayStation and Xbox following over the next couple of months. Netmarble has announced the release date for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, an open-world action RPG set in the world of the anime and manga but telling an original story, with players taking the role of Prince Tristan of the Kingdom of Liones. It launches on PC (Steam) and PS5 on March 16, with the global mobile release on iOS and Android following a week later on March 23, and pre-registration is open on the official website. Beyond combat and team building, the game also includes fishing, cooking and foraging.
