    Battlefield Studios reveals Battlefield 6 2026 roadmap with naval warfare and a server browser

    Battlefield Studios unveiled a 2026 roadmap for Battlefield 6 in a video called The Year Ahead, confirming Seasons 3, 4 and 5 are in development. Season 3 arrives in May with remakes of Golmud Railway and Battlefield 3's Grand Bazaar, plus battle royale solos and ranked play for Redsec. Season 4 in July adds naval combat with a dynamic wave system, aircraft carriers and new naval vehicles across Tsuru Reef and a Wake Island remake, along with custom lobbies and Spectator Mode, while Season 5 will bring three maps. Persistent servers and a server browser, including self-hosting, are also planned for 2026.

    Blizzard will hold one last Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred developer update before the expansion launches

    Blizzard will hold its final Developer Update livestream for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred on April 23 at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 6pm GMT. The show will cover expanded skill trees for all classes, the Talisman system, the gear-altering Horadric Cube, the War Plans endgame feature, and the new season launching alongside the expansion. Lord of Hatred arrives on April 28 as the follow-up to 2024's Vessel of Hatred.

    Marathon launch day Steam player numbers are about half those of the Server Slam

    Bungie's extraction shooter Marathon has officially launched, peaking at 88,337 concurrent players on Steam, a little over half of the 143,621 peak concurrent from its Server Slam test. The open test had offered almost all classes, two maps and many gameplay and progression systems. The game currently holds a Very Positive user review rating on Steam based on over 4,600 reviews, and the author notes the weekend may push numbers closer to the Server Slam heights.

    Blizzard aired its Diablo 4 Developer Update livestream today, giving a first look at the new Warlock class and the game's next season.     Heartopia has shared initial details of its first-ever collaboration event, a My Little Pony crossover running from February 14 to March 15. A pre-launch login event is already live, offering daily sign-in puzzles that unlock time-limited Exhibition Passes and a limited edition Spike-themed pet costume.
