PlatinumGames boss hints he wants to expand Bayonetta as Stellar Blade director calls the series "indispensable"

PlatinumGames president Atsushi Inaba has hinted he'd like to expand the character of Bayonetta and broaden her world, though he stopped short of confirming a new game. Speaking with Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung-tae at Tokyo Game Show, Kim called Bayonetta "an indispensable work in my life" and half-jokingly asked to design characters for the next entry. Asked directly about a new entry, Inaba declined to give specifics, telling Famitsu only to wait and see.
