Arc System Works will fully reveal Phoenix Cyclops, the first of four Year 1 Pass fighters for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, in a trailer on 7th October. 007 First Light has quietly rolled out a 60FPS mode for Xbox Series S in recent days, after last week's free DLC patch notes mentioned it but incorrectly said the Series X version had added the 60FPS update. The mode runs relatively well on Series S but with low graphical settings and a frame rate that mostly hovers around 50-60FPS, so a VRR-supported display is recommended. Players can now choose between "Quality" and "Performance" modes on Series S.
Insider Gaming reports that a director's cut of Watch Dogs Legion is in development, due out in the first half of 2027. The claim comes via journalist Tom Henderson, who has proven connections within Ubisoft. The game originally launched alongside the PS5.

Fuse Games creative director Kieran Crimmins and co-founder Steve Uphill explain that the game uses a runs-based loop where players pick a vehicle and Racer Style, then add parts and upgrades between races, and running out of crashes means wrecking out and restarting the tour. Multiplayer uses a shorter runs-based system decided by a final knockout event, with wins unlocking new characters and customization.
