New GTA 6 Screenshot Looks So Good Players Doubt It's Real

A new GTA 6 screenshot released alongside Rockstar's radio station news has players questioning whether it's actual in-game footage. Digital Foundry's Oliver Mackenzie suggested it may have been captured on a PS5 Pro devkit using a debug menu, noting visual flaws like dithered reflections and missing pedestrian shadows. Rockstar has historically used real in-engine footage for its marketing.

A 21-year-old developer natively ports the original P.T. to PC

Programmer Lorean Xavier made public this week a project that natively ports Hideo Kojima's P.T. to PC; the client contains no copyrighted material and requires a dumped copy of P.T. to run on Windows and Linux. Xavier said the project began in 2024 and is neither an emulator nor a remake, but a translation of the original code to PC, which also allows modern graphical features and mod support. Lance McDonald, who datamined P.T.'s secrets, called it a 1:1 port of the entire codebase.

Blizzard refuses to let World of Warcraft: Forever's dungeons become the fastest way to grind XP: 'We need to hold firm on these balance adjustments'

Blizzard announced tweaks to dungeon XP in World of Warcraft: Forever, raising the XP from killing dungeon monsters slightly but not back to WoW Classic levels. The developers said they want Azeroth to be the "main character" and don't want players spending their entire leveling experience in caves, so dungeon cleaving to 60 won't be the optimal way to level.

Vampire games on Steam are a recession indicator and I have the charts to prove it

A PC Gamer editor manually sorted through the 1,213 Steam games carrying the Vampires tag and found the number and share of vampire releases has been trending upward for years: only four launched in 2016, while 65 have released so far in 2026. The highest number of vampire launches in a single quarter rose from six in 2020 to 24 in 2026, and first appearances in SteamDB's archive grew from nine in 2016 to 99 last year. Steam's overall releases also climbed from 9,634 in 2020 to 21,263 in 2025, but the percentage of vampire games still trended up.

Clip said to be from a GTA 6 dev build shows a fully nude Jason

Cyberleek, an anonymous leaker, returned with a 25-minute video said to come from a GTA 6 development build, circulating on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours and social media. Protagonist Jason appears fully nude for much of it, with fully modelled genitals, while NPCs show no reaction and first-person driving appears, a feature GTA 6 was previously reported not to include. A floating tank suggests console commands were used, so whether the retail game allows nudity remains unknown; co-protagonist Lucia also appears topless in the clip. The author notes Cyberleek is seeking funding for a "project" and advises against it, while Take-Two and Rockstar continue looking for the culprit.
