Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 remake preview: breathtaking detail, one familiar irritation

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake arrives on Switch 2 on 5th November, and the author spent two hours with it across Kokiri Forest, the Deku Tree, Hyrule Field, Castle Town, and the Forest Temple. The remake adopts Breath of the Wild-style controls with a jump button, adds a summonable Business Scrub seed, and removes the time limit on the Forest Temple Poe picture, while visuals and lighting are heavily reworked. Navi speaks less aloud, but new floating text boxes now appear mid-screen during exploration, which the author found undercuts the scenery.

Rockstar and IWGB employment tribunal delayed into November, with closing submissions just before GTA 6's release

The employment tribunal between Rockstar Games and laid-off IWGB union members has been extended into November because witness cross-examination ran long. The case was originally set to end this Friday, and two additional dates, 17 and 18 November, have been added for closing submissions, with 18 November falling one day before GTA 6's release. The tribunal stems from Rockstar's firing of over 30 employees in late 2025 for alleged gross misconduct; the IWGB calls it union-busting while Rockstar cites unauthorised sharing of information.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 remake preview: visuals, controls, and dungeons all see changes

Eurogamer's Lottie Lynn played the Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and describes it as a ground-up rework whose visuals are rewritten rather than smoothed like the 3DS version. Auto-jumping has been removed, the jump button can be mapped to Y, and a quick item select menu from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom has been added. Dungeons also differ, with an elevator added in the Forest Temple and fewer Skullutas in Inside the Deku Tree, while Hyrule Castle Town drops its fixed camera and Hyrule Field's geography has changed.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's infamous tutorial owl seemingly won't trap you in conversation in the Switch 2 remake

In the Nintendo Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the tutorial owl Kaepora Gaebora seemingly no longer traps players in long conversations. During a 15-minute preview, Eurogamer found the owl's dialogue short and pleasant, with no mention of the map before it flew away. The remake launches on 5th November, and the owl has a new design while still offering flights from Lake Hylia.

GTA 6 leaker posts new gameplay video and claims leaks stop after memecoin collapse

The GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek allegedly released an unauthorized gameplay video said to show parts of the game's final missions, and IGN is not reporting its details. Cyberleek said the alleged 200GB-plus build will not be released because the memecoin missed its $30 million market cap target, and declared the leaks stop here for now. The memecoin's market cap has fallen to $1.2 million from a high of $7.8 million on October 11, after earlier leaks were tied to targets between $5 million and $25 million.

Reported final GTA VI leak shows barber shop, basketball and item wheel details

Reddit user /u/Gyatto- compiled gameplay details from what is described as the final GTA VI leak, including Lucia entering Kurt's Barber Shop for a hairstyle change, La Romana by Bad Bunny & El Alfa playing there, 9 hairstyles with 5 colour options and a shop-specific Platinum-Pink Ombre Straight Lob style. It also mentions picking up a joint usable under the Cigarettes & Drugs tab of the item wheel while robbing a cash register, a pool mini-game that requires grabbing a cue first, Lucia apparently wearing body armour, and a basketball outfit unlocked by scoring at 100 different hoops, indicating at least 100 hoops on the map. The author says the closing cutscene may come from a final mission titled The End of the Road and speculates it shows the Keys and Liberty City suburbs, with Journey's Don't Stop Believin' playing, though it is unclear whether the song is in the game; the author adds this may be the last leak and that no playable build will surface because the shitcoin did not reach its required marketcap.

GTA 6's Nightclubs Have an Absurd Amount of Detail, Right Down to the Lighting

Rockstar Games went to great lengths to make GTA 6's nightclubs realistic, sending developers on research trips to Miami that included ridealongs with police officers and visits to trendy clubs. Each patron in these venues has distinct animations and scripts, the bars feature unique drinks, and the lighting systems sync with the music being played. Rockstar even created a studio dedicated exclusively to building non-playable characters.
