Several outlets published hands-on previews of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, played on Nintendo Switch 2. IGN, GamesRadar, VGC, Eurogamer, GameSpot, TechRadar and Nintendo Life each posted their impressions, with IGN saying the remake is more different than you think and VGC and TechRadar describing their time with it and how returning to the original felt.
Rockstar says its next game after Grand Theft Auto 6 won't take nearly a decade to arrive. In a Bloomberg interview, development leads Rob Nelson, Phil Hooker, and Aaron Garbut said the engine, tools, and team built during GTA 6 will let the studio work more quickly without tearing that foundation apart. GTA 6 launches on November 19.
A VGC reporter played about two hours of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2 and found it keeps the original's core while adding new content and tweaks. Kokiri Forest gains talkative Kokiri and more rupees, Navi's hints move to speech bubbles and can be summoned on demand, and a hold-button sprint is added. Hyrule Castle Town becomes one connected area without loading transitions, the frame rate rises from the N64's 20fps to 60fps, and the game adds an always-on map, quick item swapping and three interface settings. It releases on November 5.
GTA 6 is now set for November 19, though it was originally planned for 2025. Publishing head Jennifer Kolbe told Bloomberg she called Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick twice to report delays to May 2026 and then November 2026, and he first responded, 'Please tell me you're kidding,' before understanding the reasons. Zelnick said a delay can be a wise investment of time and money if it lets a game reach the level of perfection it can achieve. Development head Phil Hooker said GTA 6 is 'never completely settled,' and no one currently expects another delay. The game comes to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with physical copies at retailers on November 12 containing a code rather than a disc, unlocking a week later.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake arrives on Switch 2 on 5th November, and the author spent two hours with it across Kokiri Forest, the Deku Tree, Hyrule Field, Castle Town, and the Forest Temple. The remake adopts Breath of the Wild-style controls with a jump button, adds a summonable Business Scrub seed, and removes the time limit on the Forest Temple Poe picture, while visuals and lighting are heavily reworked. Navi speaks less aloud, but new floating text boxes now appear mid-screen during exploration, which the author found undercuts the scenery.
Eurogamer published a preview of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, arguing it is shaping up to be a brilliant remake regardless of how players feel about the art style. The full preview is on Eurogamer's site, with the link pointing to a Switch 2 version.

Ubisoft announced a proposal to close Finnish studio RedLynx, affecting up to 52 positions and subject to local change negotiations; the studio is known for the Trials series, whose last standalone release was 2019's Trials Rising. At Ubisoft Singapore, 70 positions have been impacted to align the studio with upcoming production needs, and Ubisoft said the studio remains an important part of its global production organisation. Ubisoft has been reorganising its business, moving several major franchises under the new subsidiary Vantage and expanding the Ubisoft Massive label.
The employment tribunal between Rockstar Games and laid-off IWGB union members has been extended into November because witness cross-examination ran long. The case was originally set to end this Friday, and two additional dates, 17 and 18 November, have been added for closing submissions, with 18 November falling one day before GTA 6's release. The tribunal stems from Rockstar's firing of over 30 employees in late 2025 for alleged gross misconduct; the IWGB calls it union-busting while Rockstar cites unauthorised sharing of information.
Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser said in an IGN interview that he blames himself for Max Payne 3's failure, calling it "not a success" and saying "a large amount of that failure was on me." He acknowledged the game's lower sales, which publisher Take-Two said contributed to a $110m loss in that financial quarter. Houser, who was also the game's lead writer, said people really missed Sam Lake's writing.
Eurogamer's Lottie Lynn played the Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and describes it as a ground-up rework whose visuals are rewritten rather than smoothed like the 3DS version. Auto-jumping has been removed, the jump button can be mapped to Y, and a quick item select menu from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom has been added. Dungeons also differ, with an elevator added in the Forest Temple and fewer Skullutas in Inside the Deku Tree, while Hyrule Castle Town drops its fixed camera and Hyrule Field's geography has changed.
In the Nintendo Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the tutorial owl Kaepora Gaebora seemingly no longer traps players in long conversations. During a 15-minute preview, Eurogamer found the owl's dialogue short and pleasant, with no mention of the map before it flew away. The remake launches on 5th November, and the owl has a new design while still offering flights from Lake Hylia.
Summer Eternal, a studio formed by former ZA/UM staff, announced Red Rooster, in which players take the role of arson investigator Redrick Roost working with an opiate-dependent mathematician on a string of fires tied to his brother, the city's fire chief. The studio describes it as a physics-driven RPG built in Unreal Engine, set in the tri-partie city of Arta-Tantor, and says it is nearing the end of pre-production with an internal playable tech demo. The game was announced through a 500-page physical book, the Summer Eternal Anthology, priced at €69 for the Standard edition and €99 for the Deluxe Firestarter bundle, with buyers eligible for membership in a non-profit that owns five percent of the studio.
The GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek allegedly released an unauthorized gameplay video said to show parts of the game's final missions, and IGN is not reporting its details. Cyberleek said the alleged 200GB-plus build will not be released because the memecoin missed its $30 million market cap target, and declared the leaks stop here for now. The memecoin's market cap has fallen to $1.2 million from a high of $7.8 million on October 11, after earlier leaks were tied to targets between $5 million and $25 million.
Reddit user /u/Gyatto- compiled gameplay details from what is described as the final GTA VI leak, including Lucia entering Kurt's Barber Shop for a hairstyle change, La Romana by Bad Bunny & El Alfa playing there, 9 hairstyles with 5 colour options and a shop-specific Platinum-Pink Ombre Straight Lob style. It also mentions picking up a joint usable under the Cigarettes & Drugs tab of the item wheel while robbing a cash register, a pool mini-game that requires grabbing a cue first, Lucia apparently wearing body armour, and a basketball outfit unlocked by scoring at 100 different hoops, indicating at least 100 hoops on the map. The author says the closing cutscene may come from a final mission titled The End of the Road and speculates it shows the Keys and Liberty City suburbs, with Journey's Don't Stop Believin' playing, though it is unclear whether the song is in the game; the author adds this may be the last leak and that no playable build will surface because the shitcoin did not reach its required marketcap.
Rockstar leadership told Bloomberg that its next game will not take another eight years, saying the engine, tools, and team built during GTA 6 will let it make content faster. The studio's headcount grew from 2,441 at Red Dead Redemption 2's 2018 launch to 4,711 across 12 offices in 2026, with 4,020 in development and QA and 690 in publishing. Rockstar Games went to great lengths to make GTA 6's nightclubs realistic, sending developers on research trips to Miami that included ridealongs with police officers and visits to trendy clubs. Each patron in these venues has distinct animations and scripts, the bars feature unique drinks, and the lighting systems sync with the music being played. Rockstar even created a studio dedicated exclusively to building non-playable characters.
